About Honey Buns
Honey Buns Coffeehouse and Bakery is the creation of Madeline Rhoades.
Madeline started cooking at a young age and she has always been happiest in the kitchen. She received an Associate's Degree in Hospitality in Arizona, then worked in numerous restaurants and coffeehouses gaining experience and a trove of ideas for opening her own café someday.
Well, that day has come! Maupin has been home to Madeline for the last 7 years, and she is so thankful for the love and support of her neighbors. She is now bringing a long-needed service to the community: a cozy, welcoming coffeehouse with premium espresso drinks and a selection of delicacies from her kitchen.
Honey Buns Coffeehouse is a place to drop by and grab your morning beverage and a pastry...or to sit in a comfy chair by the window and relax with friends or your crossword puzzle. We hope to see you here soon!
Getting Here
Maupin is located in Wasco County on Highway 197 between The Dalles and Central Oregon, 43 miles south of The Dalles and 1.5 to 2 hours from Portland or Bend.
From Portland (approx. 2 hrs): Take 1-84 east towards The Dalles. Take the US-197 exit (Exit 87) toward Dufur/Bend. Follow US-197 through Maupin.
From Bend (approx. 1hr 40 min): Take US-97 N to US-197 N through Maupin.
